Who are we
Canyon Security is a well-established and reputable security solutions provider based in Milton Keynes. We started our operations back in the year 2009 and were able to maintain a strong reputation throughout the local area by catering to the needs of our clients. Having built up a name in the industry and a wealth of positive reviews, we continue providing reliable services to both domestic and commercial clients right up to the present day.
But, where did we start?
In the beginning...
Similar to most businesses, we had a small, yet humble start. Michael, the owner of Canyon, started his career as an electrician apprentice at NVQ Level 2, training at the Open University Maintenance Department. One of his family friends offered him the opportunity to work as a sub-contractor back in the year 2001, on a two-week trial with a pharmaceuticals company. This is where the very first time he worked on a CCTV & access control installation project and he did such a good job he was offered a permanent position.
Learning on the job
Within 6 months, he was out alone in his brand-new company van sub-contracted to work on bigger projects for much larger companies. It wasn’t long until Michael became a project engineer, however this came to an end in 2008 when he was sadly made redundant. After a short stint at a local firm who he felt weren’t providing the service to the level of quality Michael had grown accustomed to, he decided to go it alone and began subcontracting under his own business.
This grew with time and experience, leading to offering not only sub contracted labour, but also project management, sales, tenders, drawings and installation of products since 2016. From here, Canyon Security was born!
The Present...
As of now, our team at Canyon Security works with both local as well as international clients. Our engineers are located all across the UK as subcontractors.
